An h1 tag is generally used to reference a page and an h2 tag a subject within the page with h3 being thoughts or concepts under a subject. So, I would not recommend using h1's down the page. If you are changing subjects maybe an h2 followed by subtitles.

If the purpose of your h1 is to have a larger sized print, I would recommend just using a larger font size and a smaller h tag.

Thank Deb, a great tutorial! But, may I ask... when you write a post in WordPress, and create paragraph header titles, you can select from a dropdown menu of H1, H2, H3 etc. What would be the impact (if any) from assigning a paragraph title a H1 code? Would this be detrimental to your SEO?

It's great to see the basics covered. It's amazing how often it's the little stuff that trips us up. When there's one thing we don't get how to do, it's can stop the whole process.

It was great to meet you at the DSWA and now have this wonderful added resource!

Thanks,
Jan
